Nau Mai, Haere mai

Kaikōura School is a Year 0–6 primary school of around 120 students, nestled between the mountains and the sea. We’re a short walk from the beach, with space to learn, play, and explore.

The dolphins in our logo reflect the strong bond between our staff, students, and whānau — and our deep connection to Takahanga Marae and the wider community.

Kaikōura is our classroom. We draw on the rich environment, history, and culture on our doorstep to bring learning to life.
